Dodging the storms and rain, the Bridgewater Veterans Committee and their volunteers stayed through the storms, repeatedly cleaned up, set up, and took down trying to keep the water out of the pavilions. After three hours, most of the volunteers and committee members stayed, the weather finally cleared, and the 4th of July BBQ celebration began!

The grills were fired with volunteers cooking while DJ Dean got the party started with some lively tunes. Over 320 Residents and Guests feasted on an all-American menu of hot dogs & hamburgers and all the trimmings! Side dishes and chips were donated for the occasion by Chesapeake Homes.
