As noting in cave drawings in Egyptian times, the outdoor activity known as Bocce has been played for centuries.  Over time, the game that was widely popular mostly in Europe has steadily gained popularity in the United States.  Fast forward to now and the Bocce craze has descended upon Bridgewater residents.  New and old neighbors gather on Sunday nights for the friendly competition, strategic planning, a favorite beverage, social interaction and a lot of laughs.  

With the mild climate in South Carolina, Bocce games at Bridgewater will continue well into fall of the year and maybe even on seasonal winter days.  Not to mention, it’s a great way to get exercise for all activity levels!
